Student Highlights
Riverina RSSA Champion
More than 20 Parkview students represented at last Monday’s Riverina PSSA Swimming Championships hosted at the Leeton Regional Aquatic Centre.
Our students all represented with distinction, with our relays teams performing very well, whilst two students, Callum McBeth and Arthur Reid have qualified to represent Riverina at the NSWPSSA Swimming Championships being hosted at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre in April.
A summary of the boys’ achievements is outlined below:
Callum McBeth:
Riverina Champion: Open 100m Freestyle; Senior Boys 50m Backstroke; Senior Boys 50m Butterfly, Senior Boys 50m Breaststroke; Senior 200m Individual Medley
2nd: 12 Years Boys 50m Freestyle;
Arthur Reid:
1st: 8 Years Boys 50m Freestyle

Hudson Stevens named Riverina Medallist
The holidays were also notable for some achievements of children at the Leeton Shire Council Australia Day Awards.
Most notably our outgoing School Captain Hudson Stevens was recognised with the Leeton Shire Council Young Citizen of the Year Citation after an outstanding year in all areas of school life as well as in the broader Leeton community.

Jasper Crowned Premier's Spelling Bee Regional Champion
Massive news from the The Arts Unit Premier’s Spelling Bee, with Jasper White being crowned Regional Champion, earning a place in the State Final to be hosted at the Q Theatre in Penrith in November!
Jasper outlasted 30 fellow spellers to be the last competitor standing after 7 exciting rounds of competition!

Jasper becomes the fifth Parkview student in 15 years to qualify for the State Finals. What an achievement!
