Parkview Public School students have performed with distinction at the LNPSSA Cross Country Championships hosted last Monday. In total 38 Parkview students braved the extremely warm conditions to represent our community in the annual distance event, with 9 students qualifying for the Riverina Championships to be held in Gundagai on June 11th, our largest representative contingent in over a decade.
Parkview finished runners up in the overall pointscore and narrowly missed out on the Handicap Title also in our best Cross Country Performance for three years. As always the students behaviour and sportsmanship was of the highest order. We thank all parents and community members who were able to attend the event and support our children in the day.
