Jumping Ropes for the Heart Foundation

Parkview Public School’s students have raised in excess of $4000 for the Heart Foundation following its successful Jump Rope for Heart ‘Jump Off’ at the end of Term 3.

Having engaged in a range of physical activity and health improvement related learning activities during the lead up to the event, the children threw themselves into the various Jump Off activities that signalled the conclusion of the fundraising period.

Parkview PS Student Representative Council Coordinator Amy Blacker was ecstatic with the success of the fundraiser. “Our SRC identifies four charities annually which they support, and this year the Heart Foundation was one of the charities. The children have really embraced not only the fundraising but the health awareness component of the experience. As always we have been blown away by the generosity of our amazing community.”
