During the #EdWeek20 Awards Assembly on Friday, we had the opportunity to honour a number of people in our community who have made significant contributions over a long period of time. Our Education Week Awards were presented to the following worthy recipients:
Student Leadership Awards: Jy Mawer, Ruby Meline, Benji Roden and Maylee Clancy
All four of our student leaders have displayed great leadership, responsibility and resilience during a year unlike any other experienced by learners at Parkview Public School. We are very proud of the way Jy, Ruby, Benji and Maylee have led the school and displayed great adaptability when leading the student body and representing the school.
Staff Recognition Award: Mrs Anna Celi
Mrs Celi has worked in a range of student welfare and wellbeing roles at Parkview PS for the best part of the last decade. Her care, commitment and compassion for our community is amazing and we appreciate everything she does for our children.
Community Appreciation Award: Mrs Kylie Bowyer
Mrs Bowyer has filled a significant range of volunteer and P&C roles during her nine year association with the school, most recently for more than 2 years in a part-time capacity in the Canteen. She is a long standing P&C Member and always volunteers to assist where she can around the school. We really appreciate Kylie’s on-going contributions to the school!
