Today our Stage 3 students welcomed the team from Future Moves to discuss all things related to developing careers and the possibilities involved with tertiary education.
Jack Cox (Student Education Officer) and Kacey Chandler (Program Officer) from Charles Sturt University took the time to engage with our children, delivering a wonderfully interactive and informative program.
One of the key activities from the day was completing self portraits where the students explored ideas around the career they would like to do when they finish school and what they need to do to get there. The students have taken their work home to encourage further conversation with family and carers.
The sessions finished with question time with the kids exploring ideas around particular career choices and shared these questions and ideas with their peers.
Today’s visit will be followed up with a visit to the CSU-Riverina campus in Term 3 for our Year 6 students. Needless to say we are very excited with the new relationship we have built with CSU and look forward to annual visits from the team for our senior students.
